Guardian Angel is a 1-player arcade game for the Dragon 32/64.

Protection of the city is of prime importance. The player functions as its guardian angel, responsible for protecting it from incoming ships and bombs. The player can move their ship in all directions. A crosshair in front of the ship shows the position any potential fire will take. Incoming bombs fall from the sky, and the player must shoot them down before they reach the city, or the player loses a life. On higher levels additional enemy ships attack the player. The ship has limited fuel and ammo, and these can be replaced by landing on a refueling platform. This takes the player to an additional screen where they can move their ship laterally and accelerate, trying to make a smooth landing on the platform to replenish their supplies. The player starts with five lives, and it’s game over if all are lost.
